What our Learners are saying about us….

My experience with this company was amazing, Andy who taught maths was brilliant! I needed functional skills level 2 to be able to get into uni to become a paramedic and achieved this within 3 months, the patience and ability of maths Andy taught was brilliant and everyone at Dianthas was welcoming. Andy will travel to you or you can go to him, he is very flexible and if you are needing a quick way of achieving maths , this is the company for you!!!

I have done both my level 2 and my Level 3 Lead adult care worker apprenticeship with Dianthas, and with both qualifications, I received so much support, no question was ever too much. I did my lead adult care worker apprenticeship through the Covid pandemic, and this was more challenging as weekly meetings with my tutor become virtual through Zoom. Dianthas where quick to adapt to this, and the Zoom meeting meant that I could still receive the support needed. The pandemic also made the practical observation component of the qualification challenging, as my company were trying to reduce the number of visitors to our service users. So, therefore, having an extra individual in the service users' home would increase the risk of the virus spreading. Dianthas arranged for one of their staff to visit a double-handed call with me, so they were reducing the risk of the virus spreading, and they were able to observe me while also carrying out the service users care needs. Dianthas provided me with the practice end point assessments so that I could gain an idea of how it is set out. I was really worried about being recorded for the EPA, and Mandy and Kim both reassured me throughout the process that I was ready, and assured me if they thought I was not ready they would not put me forward for it.

Kimberley always made time for extra support when needed and I have enjoyed working with her, she is a really nice and genuine person who supported me to push myself out of my comfort zone to complete my presentation. I have always been very anxious to speak in front of people and I was so nervous for my presentation but Kimberley made me feel a lot more confident in doing it. The thought of presenting a power point in front of people made me want to drop out of the course due to the anxiety I was feeling over it, her patience and support really made a difference and I wouldn’t of been able to complete this without her. I have learnt a lot from Kimberley and I am really thankful to of had her as a tutor.

I hadn't done a course for such a long time, and knew I had to do this for me to progress in my career. From start to finish I have received the most amazing support. I could access support when needed and nothing was too much. Any work completed was always reviewed quickly and feedback given. This kept me focused and pushed me even more to gain my qualification. My coach was patient and supported me every step of the way. I have learnt so much and this has given me the opportunity to develop my skills and my team. To better the lives of the children I care for, and allow for effective working partnership with others. I cant say thank you enough!!

Good foundations
The coaches are brilliant, they are very supportive and flexible, as I am working they arrange a time that is suitable for me. Additionally, what I like about the Apprenticeship is that it expanded the knowledge and skulls that I have already acquired.

Personally, I felt the Apprenticeship was a lot tougher than level two(obviously) In my head, I was setting myself up to visit a classroom every month, so when I found out it was all on zoom calls (the new Covid era) it was a bit of a shock Nevertheless, the teachers are great, always on the end of an email or text if you needed any help with work that was set for you. I had to do my functional skills, so I had regular sessions which were great as that did involve going to a classroom/office to have tuition and this supported me well The course has helped me all around in many ways, making me more aware of my job role and duties Also helped me with my maths skills, making me feel more confident. And also helped me with more basic knowledge of how to use iPad/laptops

When I met the coach for my observations, she was friendly and professional and seemed to genuinely enjoy her job and helping people like myself complete my Apprenticeship, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, she was on the end of a phone when I needed her and always replied to emails when I needed extra support. I can honestly say that without the support and guidance, I don’t think I would have completed my course and I would have given up; Graduated with a Distinction.

I have been able to take the Apprenticeship at my pace and have had amazing help and support from both tutors. Andy went above and beyond to help me with my maths and English and Darren is always on hand. We have great zoom calls which are very interesting and feedback and TMA's are great to learn from.
