Course Overview

Ideal course for care workers who want to expand there knowledge to enhance there ability to assist those clients with specific needs in continence care. After completing this course you will have a better understanding of the different types of Stoma, the importance of correct dietary requirements and a better understanding of why infection control is so important around stoma and catheter care. Enabling the care worker to have a better understanding when supporting clients with these fitted.

The course training is a full day course 9:30 – 16:30 including refreshment breaks.
Refreshments included, hot and cold drinks and biscuits. Lunch will not be provided.
The training session is ideal for all staff working within a Care environment.
Care workers wishing to expand there knowledge and understanding of supporting clients requiring any sort of continence care.
