As many people are aware of the benefits and impact social care has on society. This report illustrates this much better than we ever could. Well worth a read.  It really does highlight the need to professionalise social care and make it the highly skilled career that we know it is.  

Here at Dianthas we try and take a balanced view, of course in an ideal world everybody deserves to be paid a fair wage but this comes at a cost. With all the strikes taking place over this Christmas period would making a stand now for Social care workers be heard? Would you be willing to strike? Does striking make a difference? Will social care ever get paid fair for the fantastic work they do
