I do hope you and your team are very safe well.
Not sure if you want or need to know but the apprentice incentive payments deadline is fast approaching and it would be real shame for you to miss out on funding that can support the development of your services.
Incentive payments are financial payments from government to support the development of any new member of staff who was employed between 1st August and 31st January 2021 who require to be developed through the apprenticeship programme who are enrolled through your digital account, incentive payments are:
- £3000 for Apprentices aged 16 – 18
- £2000 for Apprentices aged 19 – 24
- £1500 for Apprentices aged 25 and over
These payments can be used for the support your organisation. Payments are paid in two equal payments one at 90 days and the second after 365 days on programme, payments will be paid directly into your account, further information. These payments are in addition to the Adult Social Workforce funding.
I know, we are only just into December but Christmas and January do disappear so fast the 31st of January will be upon us in no time. Also any new apprentices will need to complete On Boarding prior to the apprentice being added to your digital account and this can take a couple of weeks to complete.
